As part of compiling an archived footage of harpists who contributed to the development of harp playing in Australia, Harp Centre Australia is looking to extend the conversations archive to include performers and harp makers.
In 2015 Alice Giles recorded a conversation with June Loney, Sydney Symphony Orchestra Harpist from 1963 – 1984, at her home in Queensland, Australia.
June Loney was the founder of the NSW Harp Society. She contributed greatly to the development of harp playing in Australia and taught a generation of harpists. Click here for more information about June Loney.
