The Harp Society of Tasmania is holding our 8th annual Harp Island workshop from 8 – 11 March 3012. This year, we are thrilled to host 2 tutors and Jakez Francois of Camac Harps.

Gabriella Dall’Ollio is back for the 3rd time for our regular workshop for all levels of harp student.

We are very proud to have Isabelle Moretti conducting a workshop for advanced students (AMEB Grade 7 and up). An impassioned teacher, Isabelle Moretti gives masterclasses throughout the world, and teaches at the Conservatoire National Sup?rieur de la Musique et de la Danse de Paris (CNSMD). Since 2008, she has also been Visiting Professor at London?s Royal Academy of Music.

Harp Island 2013 will be the first time Isabelle has taught in Australia.

Up to 3 pedal harps are available for advanced students, please advise if you would like to come but are unable to bring your own harp.

Harp Island is a time for harpists from all walks and stages of life to indulge their love of the harp and to be inspired by some of the finest international harp teachers of the present day, in a location that celebrates the beauty of Tasmania.

This time of challenging harp instruction in a friendly and relaxing environment has been an inspiration for participants of all ages since the inaugural Harp Island eight years ago.
