HCA sponsoring the visit of Michael Parfett, an historical harps restorer from the UK. He will give two workshops – one in Sydney on November 12th (location TBC), and one in Melbourne (date and location TBC).
The workshops will be free to HCA members.
Learn how to asses a historical harp, to understand the various types you might find in Australia, their mechanisms and stringing. Maybe you will find one in an attic or in an auction! There are many old harps in Australia which we don’t know how to value.
