The Harp Centre Australia is a non-profit organisation that gives Australians more opportunities to experience the harp and its music.

A word from our founder, Alice Giles...

I am proud to introduce Harp Centre Australia (HCA), our new non-profit company.

My vision has been to pull all the threads together to foster a strong, dynamic, inclusive, and quality community of harpists in Australia. In creating a non-profit organisation we ensure that if you support any aspect of the HCA you will be supporting the whole of this development.

The HCA team was part of the successful bid to bring the World Harp Congress to Sydney and Canberra in 2014. We look forward to the benefits this will bring to Australian harpists. HCA has also obtained an insurance arrangement for our registered members with Anderson Insurance in the USA (otherwise only available to American Harp Society members).

The business of HarpLore Australia has been incorporated into HCA. Harplore will no longer be a sole-trading business under my name, but part of the Harp Centre.   All purchases, from harps to sheet music, will be part of this larger vision for the harp community.  My own personal playing and teaching  of master courses will also contribute through the harp agency branch of HCA.


The HCA is ready to bring business with a heart to the harp community in Australia. We look forward to hearing from you with your visions and dreams for our future.
